Farewell to Port Rowan

Port Rowan, Ontario

After two years in Norfolk County, I leave tomorrow for the next adventure.  The small town has been an access to nature - Backus Woods, Big Creek National Wildlife Area, the beaches along Lake Erie.  I will miss the clear night skies and spectacular sunsets.  Farmer's stands in the summer, cottagers streaming in over the causeway on long weekends, walking down to the lighthouse.  This lonely town set the stage for a lot of growth and exploration.
