WATERFALLS

I couldn't bring a camera along for this adventure, but we had a great afternoon hopping through seven connected waterfalls cascading over smoothed limestone. The water was turquoise and warm, and every vista became the best one yet. At the last one, a man offered flattened large water bottles to sit on as you slide down the final falls, crashing into the water below. The limestone surface looked far too rough to pique my interest in this activity, picturing scraped hands and butt during the slide. I contented to watch the others and laugh at the ridiculousness of it all!
