There's egg in everything
Bangkok, Thailand
Flight 1/3 down, now back in the city where it all began.
After getting off the train in Hanoi at 4:30, we mostly dozed off before breakfast and a walk around the Old Quarter. Hanoi is crazy like Ho Chi Minh, and we stayed right in the middle of the food market, with fresh access to daily baguettes, mangoes, and roast dog, if one was so inclined.

The most delicious experience in the city was unexpectedly egg coffee, a Hanoi specialty. Tuyen brought us to the best spot in town, through a dark, sketchy alleyway and up a flight of stairs. The coffees came out thick with a layer of foam covering the rich Vietnamese brew. Liz and I shot our hands up for a second round.
